Paker's 2nd Birthday... March 15, 2009

So hard to believe that my baby turned 2! Absolutely amazing to me when I stop and think that just 2 years before, our precious baby was in the NICU fighting for every precious breath he took. Born at full term of 38 weeks and being the biggest of our children at 7lbs. 8oz... we were very shocked when after about 30 minutes of being in the recovery room with Mommy to find out he was in distress and having a hard time breathing! His little lungs had not fully developed, so he was given medicine to help strengthen/mature his lungs and spent 3 1/2 days in the NICU. God is so good though, miraculously were able to leave the hospital "on time" after the standard 4 day stay for a c-section as he was doing well. The Pediatrician even remarked to me that he never expected that Parker would be leaving the hospital "on time"... so thankful for THE GREAT PHYSICIAN!
