Clark & his Kindergarten Friends... Mrs. Fones "Fish"

Before coming outside, the students wrote down their sins and "nailed" them to the tree outside.

The students & Mommies sins- "nailed" on the tree.

Mrs. Smith reading "Benjamin's Box" & the Easter story from God's Word while the students brought their Resurrection Eggs up one by one.

Clark's # in class is #6, so his Resurrection Egg had a nail through a piece of leather, signifying the stripes that they made on Jesus' back during the Crucifixion. After Mrs. Smith read that portion of the story from "Benjamin's Box," then she read that portion from the Bible.

Since Jesus made the way for our sins to be forgiven, the students then were able to tear their sins down from the tree and throw them away... forgiven by Jesus if we ask it in His name.

Egg Hunt
I am so thankful that my Mom kept my little cherubs so that I could attend Clark's Easter Celebration. It was a cold, windy, morning but thank goodness it did not rain. It was for myself a very convicting morning. It never ceases to amaze me how we can continue to learn something new from God's Word, even after hearing a particular passage many times before. My heart was so touched by what Christ did for us! Mrs. Smith, who is the 'Room Mom' did a fantastic job of telling the Crucifixion/Resurrection Story! The class even learned about the Passover... even down to trying the Matza (sp?) bread and the juice.
