Parker Happened...again

Well, I have heard other people tell the stories of their little ones coloring on the walls, all over themselves, etc. only to wonder weren't they watching their child? Or, what are they letting their child get away with? Well, shame on me. Now I am one of those parents! Charity and Clark never did the troublesome, get into mischief stuff. Then came Parker...

So, I was picking up toys Monday morning, only to come through the house to see the beautiful piece of art on my kitchen floor. Parker nowhere to be seen, just markers scattered everywhere with the lids left off. I grabbed the camera, took a pic and then went off to find my oh so sweet, 19 month old boy! Then while I am attempting to clean it off my floor, unbeknown to me, he is in the entry way getting into trouble! I still had stuff out from making the cake over the weekend and he got the bucket of color paste, like food coloring but thick, and took the lid off of the purple. I still didn't know until he came up to me and I noticed his hands were PURPLE! So, I scooped him up and headed to the bathroom to wash his hands. Then I saw the mess in the entry-way! As I am attempting to wash this color off of his hands I see it is all over his legs and feet too. So, to the tub he went. That color washed off the floor beautifully, not quite so good for him but it did fade. The marker on my horrible quality, needs to be replaced floor didn't budge much. The "art" is there for the long haul. Do you suppose State Farm would cover new flooring under a "Parker disaster" clause? :o)

Oh, and this pic is a separate incident. He fell asleep while playing. Note the spanking spoon stuck in his steering wheel? Not sure about that one, guess he figures if he has it Mommy can't. Too bad for him I have more than one!

Melissa, this story and photo's were great. Nash has done some interesting things like this when he was younger (they make for great memories of those treasured moments!)
