Locks of Love!
For a little girl that didn't really even have hair until about age 4, Charity's sure had grown long and pretty these past 4 years. Charity had been telling us that she wanted to cut her hair, but we kept telling her that she would have to wait until after Uncle Paul & Aunt Deliesha's wedding. Well, the wedding came and went and she didn't change her mind. :( She was hoping to get it cut before school was out for the summer so that her friends could see it, so off we went. I made her an appointment with our friend, Kimberly whom I've know since I was 12, and who Charity had as a Sunday School teacher this past year. So, not only was it special for Charity to go to a 'Salon' for her cut, but extra special to have Miss Kim cut her hair. She had plenty of hair to donate to 'Locks of Love,' so a 13 1/2 inch ponytail was cut to donate. Her hair turned out very cute, and made her look much more grown up. She just told me a few days ago that she does want to grow it back out as she likes to be able to get it up off of her neck.
