Parker Evan Horinka- 1st Birthday, March 15, 2008

It is so hard to believe that our baby is 1! He started walking 2 days before his birthday and is really trying hard to run everywhere! Of course, with that comes lots of bumps and bruises, but he's a tough boy! It is so hard to believe that this is the little boy who was in the NICU at birth, struggling with every breath. God is so good, and we are so VERY thankful that He chose to heal Parker's lungs and give us the opportunity to raise him! He is such a joy! We didn't get to celebrate his birthday until April 11th, but he didn't mind! :0) He wasn't too sure what to think of his cake (didn't like getting his hands dirty), but once we gave him a spoon, he really started enjoying it! We had a house full of dear friends
and family and enjoyed celebrating Parker's 1st
year of life!
